This weekend sees the first Scottish Gin Fest hosted by Grays’ Deli in Glasgow - www.graysdeli.com (sold out). We have been lucky enough to be chosen to be used in a feature cocktail - The Grasshopper - with our Chocolate Mint Gin. So we asked the ladies at Gin Shed 22 - a local private gin club - to make up the cocktail and give us a review. You can see that they made a fair few up and the photography is less than perfect - I wonder how many they had had before??

The McQueen Grasshopper Recipe:
25ml McQueen Chocolate Mint Gin
12.5ml Creme de Menthe
12.5ml Creme de Cacao
25ml single cream
Method:
Dry shake in boston shaker
Then add ice and shake again to chill
Serve:
Martini Glass (grated dark mint chocolate was added to the top and served with mint matchmaker)
