Lockdown 2.0 Shop Updates

Just a small update from both of our retail units, the McQueen Gin Emporium and the McQueen Distillery Shop. Both shops will be staying open during lockdown 2.0! There will be no changes to the opening hours.

To stay safe, to protect others and to save lives customers should:

Remember the FACTS:

• Face coverings in enclosed spaces
• Avoid crowded places
• Clean your hands and surfaces regularly
• Two-metre social distancing
• Self-isolate and book a test if you develop coronavirus symptoms

• Only 1 group of people in the shop at one time.
• Maximum of 4 people.
• Two-meter social distance if possible.
• All customers must sanitise hands entering and leaving the Emporium.
• All customers and staff must wear a face-covering unless exempt.
• Customers must stand behind the partition during a gin tasting.
• Staff to wipe down all surfaces after customers leave.
• All staff must wear a face-covering entering and leaving the Emporium.
• When travelling to and from work, staff should wear non-uniform and get changed into uniform when at work, to lower the spread of infection (this includes hoodies, gilets, and jackets).
• Staff to wipe down all surfaces at the start and end of the day, this includes door handles.
• Staff areas should be wiped down regularly.
• No face coverings should be lying on surfaces as this can spread infection.
