What a week that was, actually, what a year…

Those who follow us on social media will know that the last year has been a whirlwind of innovation, construction work, awards, construction work, new partnerships, construction work… oh and some construction work thrown in for good measure.

The past 12 months have seen the UK-wide launch of our sensational Forest Fruits Colour-changing Gin and Pink Gin into Aldi, bringing home Gold and Bronze from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition respectively, as well as the launch of the flavour of summer with our world first Coconut & Lime Gin going into Sainsbury’s across Scotland.

It has easily been the busiest time in the history of McQueen Gin, and last Monday we reached the biggest milestone in our adventure so far - the Grand Opening of our incredible new distillery.

It’s how big?!
Housing our trusty Little Maggie and her new beau Big Doogy, we will be able to produce more gin than ever before. In fact, our new distillery has increased our capacity by 1000%! This means we will be able to bring our adventurous Scottish spirit to more gin lovers than ever, and not just in the UK…

Going global
A bigger distillery means the chance to enter bigger markets, and we could not be prouder to announce that our distilled to be different gins, from tiny wee Callander, will be entering some of the biggest in the world – heading stateside and down-under, with more to come!

Homemade gin
None of this success would be possible without the incredible support of McQueen Gin drinkers across the UK. You have helped make McQueen what it is today, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. So, fear not, while the international expansion is exciting, nothing gets us out of bed in the morning faster than the chance to create even more innovative gins – and that starts right here at home.

Our doors are open
Located at the gateway to the Trossachs (Scotland’s oldest National Park), come visit our home in beautiful Callander. With tours and tastings available throughout the year, you can meet the team behind the scenes and learn how the McQueen magic happens.
