Queen Vicky picks up Family Run Business of the Year at Scottish Women’s Awards

A huge congratulations our very own Queen of McQueen Gin, Vicky, who triumphed at the Scottish Women’s Awards to win Family Run Business of the Year for McQueen Distillery.

Now in its third year, the awards create a platform for inspiring women all over Scotland and honour its talented female workforce. From professionals and entrepreneurs to civil servants and charity workers, the awards celebrate the achievements of women in a variety of roles across different industries who make Scotland a fantastic and more equal place to work.

As a self-trained businesswoman and chef and with a passion for culinary excellence, Vicky has worked tirelessly with husband and co-founder, Dale to create a strong brand with a unique offering. Vicky’s enduring passion and entrepreneurial spirit transcends to the flavours of the McQueen Gin range and on the first day of trading, the dynamic pair created four world-first flavours; Sweet Citrus, Mocha, Smokey Chilli and Chocolate Mint.

Vicky extends this award to each member of the dedicated team at the McQueen Gin Distillery and the newly opened McQueen Gin Emporium, Stirling.
