Flying the McQueen Flag
Next to putting our family name on every bottle, there is nothing more fulfilling about creating a quality Scottish craft gin than being part of the communities our distilling adventure has seen us join.
We’re so proud of our roots as a rural Scottish business, representing the town of Callander and the Scottish gin industry on a national scale across the UK. But it wouldn’t be our style to stop there!
Exciting plans are already being put in place for McQueen Gin to literally ‘take off’ as 2019 continues by exporting our adventurous Scottish spirit to represent our home and industry on an international scale too. Plus, there is a BIG day coming up in the calendar the for Scottish gin community that we cannot wait to be a part of.
Thank you for flying McQueen
When we first opened our doors, we never could have imagined reaching the distant markets that lay beyond the horizon, let alone doing so after 3 short years. But here we are, still a ‘toddler’ and making plans for far-off lands!
This is down to all of you here at home. Suddenly, thanks to your loyal support, the prospect of gin lovers in countries such as America, Australia, or even China discovering our distilled to be different spirits, seems less of a fantasy and more of a potential dream come true.
And we’re not the only ones looking to fly the flag for Scottish gin in new territories.
International Scottish Gin Day
As mentioned, we are thrilled to be part of such a welcoming and supportive Scottish gin community. It’s wonderful to see our industry thriving, with co-ops and initiatives emerging to help those ditching day-jobs and following their passion to join the gin scene (like we did) to find a place in a busy market.
International Scottish Gin Day is the perfect example of this positive industry mentality in action. While it is still a couple of weeks away, everyone here at McQueen Gin cannot wait to be part of this brand-new global celebration of all things Scottish Gin!
With the inaugural annual International Scottish Gin Day on Saturday 3rd August 2019. Watch out for more from us closer to the big day!
