We have been given this wonderful opportunity via Scottish Development International (SDI) and feature as part of the fabulous produce from Scotland.

Dale is manning the stand by himself this week, as Vicky is waiting patiently for a new grandchild to arrive any day.

Later, after the first day, all the Scottish exhibitors were bused to the British Embassy in Tokyo, to present their goods to potential buyers and importers.

The room was packed and McQueen Gin tasting samples were the first to go.

The second day brought the product presentations, again to a pack room of potential customers, Dale through a translator, talked about our little Distillery in the heart of Scotland. They played our 7 minute video, that showed scenes from the local area, our distillery – inside and out, how we make our gin and bottle our gin. The audience were also treated to a sneak preview of some of our future plans which we will disclose in April.

Foodex Japan 2018, is one of the worlds largest trade exhibition for International food and drink, with producers coming from all over the world to introduce their products to the growing Japanese market.

Scottish Development International (SDI), not only are there to help companies invest and work in Scotland, but also support Scottish companies drive export world wide.

Foodex Japan runs from 6th of March 2018 to 9th March and is held at Makuhari Messe, near Tokyo.
